Technology is everywhere in San Jose. From the Tech Museum of Innovation to the visitor centers at various Silicon Valley companies, visitors can learn about the history of high-tech in its own birthplace. The Tech Museum of Innovation offers exhibits that teach people how technology shapes their lives. Some exhibits include designing a virtual roller coaster, taking a tour of a high-tech clean room, or exploring underwater canyons. Combining form and function, the Silicon Valley Institute of Art and Technology is a contemporary art gallery which features new media art exhibitions. The Intel Museum showcases the computer chip...how it is designed and manufactured, and how it is used in various devices which affect our lives.

San Jose is also home to many exciting sports teams, musical venues, and cultural splendors. For the sports fan, there are teams such as the San Jose Sharks hockey team, the San Jose Earthquakes soccer team, and the minor league baseball team, the San Jose Giants. The music fan will enjoy listening to the San Jose Symphony or the San Jose Jazz Society.
