The IBM La Gaude site, between Nice and Cannes on the French Riviera Cote dAzur is missioned with European and worldwide projects centred on the future of e-business technologies, solutions and services.
The La Gaude site is in the heart of Frances "Telecom Valley"—a European Technology park specializing in communication technologies and services. Over 10,000 people work in the Telecom Valley in more than 60 high tech companies of national and international renown.
Nearly a thousand IBMers are employeed at La Gaude. They are principally highly skilled engineers and technicians working on complex customer integration projects, innovative applications, solutions and technologies including 3rd generation mobile networks.
The main building was opened in 1961 and is situated in 34 acres of peaceful grounds amongst ancient olive trees. IBM is 30 minutes from Nice International airport and also from Sophia Antipolis, the heart of the technopole.
