What are the major differences between the Extreme Blue program and the Speed Teams program? With Speed Teams, the project team is working directly in the business unit and will likely present their project results at the end of their assignment locally. Also– the experience may vary by each business unit. For example, all Extreme Blue project teams have an MBA, whereas MBAs are not a requirement for all Speed Team projects.

With Extreme Blue, interns work in a unique lab environment at select IBM locations and will present their project results locally and nationally. Extreme Blue interns will likely receive additional networking and career development opportunities arranged by members of the Extreme Blue staff above and beyond what all interns at IBM receive.
